BUILD YOUR OWN FELT BOARD!    

(ALL Visuals That We Sell Fit Nicely On This Size Board!)

Materials needed:

1.  2 pieces of 1/4" plywood (the cheaper the better) 2 feet by 3 feet each.Although we have had larger boards in the past, we found that a 4 X 3 foot board works nicely and can be made fairly cheaply. It will last a life time!

A very simple board is made by using a thick piece of cardboard, but wood is

preferable because it lasts a long time and doesn't warp.

Remember, you will cover it with felt so no one will see the markings or scratches on the board!

2.  Black or dark colored felt - at least 40" by 52" - Most felt boards are a black background. If you use a color, we suggest you keep it on the dark side so that your visuals will stand out.

3. Duck Tape

Here's What to Do:

Simply put the 2 pieces together and by using Duck Tape from the top to bottom. You now have a board 3' by 4' which will fold in half for easey storage!

Prepare to cover THIS SIDE with felt. Make sure you cut out a piece of felg big enough to not only cover the board, but will go over the sides a good 4 inches. Then Duck Tape these edges on the back of the board and all the way around!

Last, but not least, we suggest you check out easels in your local craft store, such as Hobby Lobby, or even on-line. Using an inexpensive one is perfectly fine, because it will not be holding a lot of weight.
